What are your pronouns and sexuality?

I use either "he/him" or "she/her" pronouns fluidly. This means some days I'll feel more inclined to use one over the other, and that can change from time to time. My current pronouns will be listed in my Twitter bio. I'm asexual, which means sexual attraction to other people doesn't come naturally to me, and it's far less important to me. It doesn't mean I'm a plant or a robot incapable of being physical with other people. Romantically, I like girls.

Why bees?

Bees are cute. They're brightly coloured, work incredibly hard all the time, and put good things out into the world.

How long have you been drawing?

For as long as I can remember, I've always been into drawing! My family always encouraged it, and I looked up to my grandmother, aunts and great aunts who were all painters in some way. My dream job as a child was to illustrate books. I started taking art more seriously throughout school, and began drawing digitally in 2008. In 2013 I started a university course for Game Design at RMIT in Melbourne. This allowed me to practise art and creativity with a more specific direction. I left in 2015 and turned to webcomics and graphic novels instead of pursuing game design.

How do I get better at art?

Draw every day, to get better at the practise of drawing, and for it to come more naturally. Draw from life and use references to get better at understanding how form and figure works. Create your own character (OC) to always have something to draw when you feel you're out of ideas. Use websites like Pinterest and Lookbook for ideas and inspiration. Make sure you're drawing things you like, and to have fun with art so it doesn't feel like a chore. Make artist friends, and surround yourself with people who are proud of you, who inspire and challenge you. If you're comfortable drawing but want to push yourself and get better all around, start a comic. It combines discipline to update regularly, repetition to draw frequently, and challenge to draw new things and improve with every page.

Can I send you something in the mail?

I no longer have a PO Box address! I hope to get a new PO Box once I have bought my own home.

I can't afford to pledge or sub, how can I still support you?

Following my stream and coming to as many livestreams as you can is one of the best ways to support! You're more than welcome to lurk and listen along as I draw, work or game. Watching, hosting, and sharing the stream is a great way to spread the word to others and help my channel grow organically. You can read any of my comics online for free and like, leave a comment, or share it with a friend if you enjoy. I also love seeing fanart and hearing your thoughts about the stories, which you can share in our open Discord server. If you'd like to help me financially (still free for you!) you can watch ads to earn bits on Twitch.tv, and similarly you can watch ads to earn ink on Tapas.io. You can use bits and ink to tip me on their respective websites, which turns into real currency for me! Disabling your adblocker on websites like Tapas.io also enables me to earn ad revenue from your browsing.

Do you take requests? Will you draw ___ for me?

I don't draw free requests. You're welcome to commission me when my commissions are open.

What are your digital brush settings?

I use the default Clip Studio G-Pen (inking), the iOS default "design pencil" (sketching), plus Soft Airbrush (some shading) for most of my drawings. I also use a custom brush I made myself for inking illustrations. You can download this from my Discord sub channel if you're a Twitch subscriber.

How can I get started Creative streaming?

You should check out my Twitch 101 guide, aimed at creatives who want to start on Twitch.

How long have you been gaming?

Growing up I had two older brothers (6 and 7 years older) who were both avid gamers, so I've been gaming since I was a baby. Though we played various consoles and handhelds as kids, I started playing Runescape when I was 7, which I think started the majority of my online experiences.
